You know I love good quotes and these did not disappoint. Great timing on all the video. Well done, Francisco!

This is another great video, Francisco. I’m not quite sure what to make of Camus’ quote. it’s as if he is discouraging us from being more than just an animal. What do you think of it ?

    • Francisco Bravo Cabrera · 19 Days Ago

I looked up “discouraging” and it’s meaning is: causing someone to lose confidence or enthusiasm; depressing. If that is what you meant, then I see nothing wrong. I agree with Camus then that we are not just an animal. We are different beings altogether, at least in my belief system. So, looking at his quote that way, I would certainly like it much more. Originally I did not think of that when I read his quote but you propose something very interesting. Thank you Margaret. What do you think?

      • margarethallfineart · 18 Days Ago

I wasn’t quite sure whether Camus thought it was a good or a bad thing that we humans strive for something more. In any case, it got us thinking !

      • Francisco Bravo Cabrera · 18 Days Ago

Yes! Certainly! I think he may have meant just that Margaret…

    Great mind provoking quotes!
